The sandy beach with its golden sand dunes stretches out into the distance, small rocks perch on the edge of the bay, and the enticing scent of the tamarisk trees spreads along the beach… the crystal blue waters of the Aegean Sea are ready to take you on a magical and relaxing trip.

You can walk down to the sea to enjoy a swim, as it is only a few meters away from your cool, comfortable apartment.

Kastraki is a small bay located behind the Mikri Vigla peninsula and next to the beach at Glyfada.

Its fine white sands, calm seas, sun loungers and umbrellas make Kastraki Beach a popular place for swimmers. It is naturally beautiful, and, in addition to swimming and sunbathing, it also offers lots of other activities.

Also, the bay is suitable for anchoring small yachts.

Within a stone’s throw of the apartments you will find restaurants which serve delicious food, picturesque tavernas where you can enjoy traditional Naxian dishes and cafes and bars for refreshing aperitifs.

A little further away there is a mini market where you can get everything you need. In addition, you will find daily Greek and foreign newspapers, fresh bread and a bus stop where you can catch a bus to the main village on the island, Chora.

Generally, Naxos has many water sports and activity centres, cafes, tavernas and quiet bars for a night time drink so that visitors of all ages, with or without family, can all find something to enjoy.
